From the influence of Persian miniatures to Japanese prints and kimonos; from Guatemalan textiles to Mexican Talavera tiles; and from Islamic architecture to the paintings of Klimt, Vuillard, Bonnard and the contemporary artist, Alfredo Arreguin; I am engaged in creating an unlimited, universal totality of patterned surface through the combination of color, line, shape, space and texture with guidance from my inner self.
